A huge THANKS to our incredibly organized and fantastic staff, and our wonderful family and friends that helped with inventory over the past few days. I am thankful to say we have survived and finished another inventory. After this many years of doing it we have definitely got a good system but it is still a grueling task that is made much easier with the incredible help we receive. We are excited to open on Wednesday December 31st from 10:00 and until 3:00 with the first task being to open the two shipments that have arrived! We still have two more shipments that should be arriving any day now. I have received the invoice for both of the remaining shipments and I know we will have an absolutely great selection of stickles and more coming soon.

Layout ContestThe countdown is on for our upcoming Layout Contest! Starting November 1st at 6:00 our layout packages are going on sale. This month's packages have a $10.00 cost per person. Each person who purchases a package has until November 20th to complete their layout! Upon returning your completed layout to us, you will receive a $5.00 in-store credit, and your completed layout with your name will go on the wall in our store on December 1st until December 31st at closing. On January 2nd or anytime after that you are welcome to pick up your layout. With only 15 packages being sold your chances of winning are very good. On November 21st we will be making the draw with two lucky winners being chosen to receive gift certificates. A $20.00 in-store gift certificate will go to the first name drawn and a $15.00 in-store gift certificate for the second name drawn. For our customers there is the excitement of being able to see how 15 different people use the same products 15 different ways. Please see in-store for additional information!

Join our Card Class taught by Lorraine. We have a wonderful array of cards that we will be teaching in the class you won't want to miss. Again this year you can come to just one class or you can choose to come to one class per month from September to January and pay a reduced rate. We teach the same card class twice each month so if you can not make it to your class we can usually transfer you into the other one at no charge as long as we receive notice. You can join us on the first Tuesday of each month or the second Wednesday of each month.

Next of course is our Mini Album Class, join Gwen in this wonderful series of classes where you will be creating a unique and different Mini Album in every class. Mini Albums make a wonderful gift for that hard to buy for person, and a handmade Mini Album is a gift to treasure. Club Nights
Join us for Club Night - a wonderfully relaxing evening to help you get caught up on your scrapbooking. A person can attend one evening or many evenings.
Saturday night Club Nights are back! ! ! ! And we are excited to announce all the fantastic Saturday night events we have as well. Friday and Saturday's 6:00 - midnight and\or Monday nights from 6:00 - 11:00. Bring your scrapbooking things and be ready for the fun! For those who get stuck on a layout idea take advantage of the staff working for ideas. The girls, when asked to help, love to give ideas and suggestions with layout and design tips, colors and more. Come by yourself or come and bring yours friends and either way by ready for an enjoyable evening.

With three nights every week to choose from, and a crop room that easily seats 48 people we usually have room ready and waiting for you! A person can either pay a drop-in fee whenever they wish to come or pay a block fee for the entire session. If a person chooses to pay the block session fee, the price includes all Scrapmanias. Yes, you really did read this right, our Friday and Saturday night sessions works out to $2.00 a night. We just ask that you let us know when you will not be attending so we know the number of people to expect each night.

Scrapmania - Just like a mini retreat without the price - prizes, food, make and take and so much more! And all for only $5.00. Like all of our classes we welcome Non-members as well as members, so bring yourself or bring yourself and your friends, and your scrapbooking supplies and be prepared for a relaxing fun-filled night. Our Scrapmanias are the first Friday, first Saturday and the first Monday of each month. Come to one or come to all of them. November Scrapmanias are:

The first Sunday of each month is Kids Club. Sign up today as space is limited. On each of the following Sundays from 1:00 - 2:00 there will be a class fro ages 5 - 10 and one from 2:15 – 3:15 for ages 9 - 14. Each month there are different projects than the previous month's class. Your children will love having cards ready for each special occasion as it arrives. We highly recommend attending the class for ages 9 -14 Scrapbookers as they will learn many new tips and techniques that can apply to their scrapbooking as well.
Sunday November 2nd

Most of our classes can be purchased in a kit form if you can not make it the night of our class, in fact we sell incredible amounts of kits and then people will come in on a day that suits them and create the project. Just imagine if you sign up for the three layout classes each month – you will be creating 5 double-paged spreads a month. At the end of the year you will have completed 120 pages! Just think how quickly you will be catching up on your pictures at that rate.

We had an absolutely fantastic time this past weekend with Sandy a long time friend. Sandy from Sandy Lockhart Photography came and took an incredible amount of Fall pictures with our Family and I can't wait to see them. If you have not yet booked your Fall Photo's I highly recommend you do. Two of my very good friends introduced the idea of Fall Photo's to me a few years ago and I am so glad they did. The pictures with the Fall background are absolutely wonderful. I have been looking around the store at the wonderful selection of Fall Papers and Embellishments that I can use to scrapbook these pictures with and we definitely have a wonderful selection to choose from. My all time favourite of course is the latest Bo Bunny Line, this incredible line has been so popular that we have had to reorder it a couple of times already!

We have another shipment arriving on Friday with some great things in it. As well we had new magazines come in on Wednesday.

For those of you who were not at our Members Appreciation Crop you are probably wondering what draw....... We totally appreciate all of our customers but our Member's have paid a fee for more benefits and we aim to please. All of our Members were invited to a Free Members Appreciation Crop this past weekend where we gave out prizes and more prizes - Thank you for coming gifts, food etc. At the end of the weekend we put everybody's name in the drum and picked one Members name who won the XXL tote. Congratulations Tracy and thanks to all of you who attended this fun event!

Another 10 cases of products arrived today - most of which was filled with cardstock for the great sale! We also got in the latest Fancy Pants and Reminisce lines. To Celebrate Yesterdays Memories Birthday Bash, I have this incredible multi purpose mini album filled with loads of techniques and products for you to learn about.

On the cover alone you are going to use three different types of paint(two from Tim Holtz and one from Making Memories), three different stamping techniques, distress inks, embossing, Prima embossed chipboard, flowers and leaves.
